In these two tracks Lomission is experimenting with genres, different to their previous releases.
"Research" is inspired by breakbeat, incorporates some rough, glitchy and experimental drum elements but also shows us a dreamy atmosphere with its guitar riffs.
In "Odyssey" Lomission take a almost ten minute journey through different sub-genres of electronic music, hence the name. It starts with a atmospheric guitar and synth intro and gets rolling with a acid-bass driven half-time beat. The guitars draw inspiration from both western-movie style melodies and dub elements. The break stands out with its very improvised, playful and jazzy solos. In the final part Lomission take again a turn with a groovy techno-inspired beat.
